A Short Bio by Riley's Father

When Riley was 8 years old, he loved a story told by Bagpiper Jennifer Armstrong, about how she learned the bagpipes from her Father...and soon after he asked to learn..with the help of many along the way, and his own determination to unlock the secrets of the ancient instrument, he has become one of the fine Bagpipers of the Central Coast.
Riley has grown up in Grover Beach, and Oceano, Graduated from Nipomo High School as a proud Titan, and will attend Hancock College in the fall.
He has played with Pipe Bands from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo; successfully competed at Scottish Games, and is an active musician on the local folk circuit.
His exciting appearances at KCBX'S  Live Oak Music Festival have brought bagpiping to a whole new generation of listeners.
His range of performance experience, and natural exuberance ensures that your event or  ceremony can have the professional performance it deserves.
